This role's primary purpose is to support student groups at the University of Cambridge. While based in the Activities Team, Activities Coordinators collaborate with all teams throughout the organisation. They will be responsible for supporting student groups in registration and handover periods, student group finance, grant applications, and committee member training.
The Activities Team is an integral part of the SU's wider Enterprise and Services Directorate, which incluedes responsibility for the operation of the reception area and support with major SU events such as the Freshers’ Fair, Student Awards and Elections support.
Cambridge SU has a strategic objective to develop strong communities and support students in their extra-curricular activities; we want to achieve this by being the central support service for the majority of student societies at Cambridge. Alongside the job description, role-holders will be expected to deliver upon objectives defined in the organisation’s strategic plan and associated work plans.
