Access Hour: It’s important that everybody has an opportunity to explore the fair in an accessible way so we'll be hosting an access hour from 10am - 11am in which the venue capacity will be lowered and music will be switched off.

What is Refreshers Fair: 

Refreshers Fair is a great chance to discover or rediscover what different Societies, Sports Clubs and other Student Groups have to offer - be it looking for like-minded people or stepping out of your comfort zone to try something new. If you missed Freshers’ Fair in October, this is a chance to get the experience on a smaller, but just as great, scale! 

Who will be attending: 

Over 70 societies will be in attendance, ranging from Hobbies and Interests to Political Causes we’ve got your interests covered. You can meet and chat with societies on the second floor in the dining hall. A full list of societies attending can be found on our Refreshers page. 

If you’re interested in joining a sports club/team then make sure to check out the Cormak room which will host multiple sports teams/clubs e.g. Taekwondo, Modern Pentathlon and the Sports Service. 

The SU Lounge on the third floor will be our designated chill-out zone where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the fair, take part in arts and crafts, and access resources. The Student Advice Service will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns you might have going into Lent Term. Our consultation rooms will also be open as a quiet space away from the fair.

We will have a number of national brands such as Dominos and Dishoom throughout the building, offering freebies and great discounts throughout the day.
