We educate, inspire and connect the next generation of healthcare innovators.
We work to enable students and early career professionals to find their potential and provide them with the necessary platform and skills needed to research and innovate within the MedTech sphere. Founded in 2018, we have since developed a thriving community of talented individuals driven to improve healthcare. We work closely with the Cambridge University Hospitals, the NIHR Brain Injury Med-Tech Cooperative, Clinical Engineering Innovation, the Judge Business School and local MedTech start-ups and companies.
Our flagship programme introduces students to medical device development. You will learn how to develop a concept for e medical device by working on solving a real clinical problem. Project work is complemented with workshops, mentoring by clinical/technical/business experts, and a Final Pitch event where students pitch their work to a panel of judges.

Our MEDx events consist of a series of short talks aimed to inspire University students to innovate and enter the MedTech sphere. Participants are encouraged to network freely to expand their interdisciplinary personal and professional networks. Our activities are improving and expanding year-on-year and we will continue to be the gateway into MedTech and innovation for Cambridge University Students.
