Cambridge University Ghanaian Society (CUGS) focuses on the socio-cultural well-being of Ghanaian students studying in Cambridge and all who seek to learn, understand, and participate in Ghanaian culture or cultural activities. It aims to do this by mobilising all Ghanaians studying at the University of Cambridge, co-ordinating their socio-cultural and intellectual activities, and creating a forum for members to interact and share experiences and all other interested parties.

Membership is open to all Cambridge University members, regardless of ethnic origin or nationality. All who share an interest in Ghanaian culture, as well as those of West African and Ghanaian heritage and origin, are welcome to join.
