CULES is a non-profit amateur dramatics group that aims to bring theatre to those who wouldn't normally get to see it, and to raise money for charity with our silly (and often musical!) comedy shows. Normally, we would take our plays to special needs schools, homes for the elderly and homeless shelters in the local area but in the past two years (for Certain Reasons), we've been doing radio shows to raise money for charity instead. We aren't a 'serious' drama society, with emphasis on enthusiasm rather than experience, and we give a part in one of our shows to everyone who auditions so if you want to be in a show, you can be in a show!
This term (Michaelmas 2021), we're gradually returning to live shows, but doing so alongside radioshows still. See our website for more information on how to get involved, whether backstage or on stage, virtually or in-person. Or drop us an email on cules.president@gmail.com if you have any quetions.
