Cambridge University Japanese Society (CUJSoc) provides a friendly interface between Japanese and non-Japanese in Cambridge. We welcome everyone who is interested in finding out more about Japan!

The CUJSoc (Cambridge University Japanese Society) provides a friendly interface between Japanese and non-Japanese in Cambridge: socially at the Freshers' Squash, formals, pub meeting events, but also by organising Japanese cultural events including events with Japanese food, film nights and informal language lessons! We have an annual New Year's Party (involving Japanese food and umeshu!) and an end-of-term event in the summer. Our society allows members to experience and learn more about Japanese culture and we welcome all who are interested in finding out more about Japan (you don't need to know any Japanese to join:)). The membership of the Society is open to all members of the University of Cambridge, and some of our events are open to non-members too.
We aim to make the society as inclusive and diverse as possible to connect people with different backgrounds through the shared interest in Japan, while providing a warm and friendly environment in which Japanese students can feel at home.
