Fitz Barbershop is an all-singing, all-dancing, all-male a capella group sporting boaters, bow ties and impossibly garish waistcoats, bound to lighten the mood at any event. Though based primarily in Fitzwilliam College, we attract some of the best male vocal talents from across the University to put our distinctive harmonious spin on anything from Disney to West Side Story to cheesy pop tunes.
The Barbers usually perform at a number of May Balls and other similar events through the year, but we will have plenty to rehearse for even if these do not go ahead! Fitz is fully equipped to spread the Barber joy, having recently bought live-streaming equipment and lighting rigs for the Auditorium and signed off risk assessments for concerts and rehearsals! Album recording and even music videos may also be on the cards…

Auditions
Auditions are held in early October (start of Michaelmas term). If you're interested in becoming a Barber, make sure to email us so you're the first to know when we're opening auditions!
