Academic journal and society
NerdHerder is a student journal publishing essays on pieces of pop culture and other topics typically overlooked by academia. This could be writing on film, books, video games, song lyrics, or anything else you think wouldn’t fit into ‘traditional academia’. We hold both social events including quiz nights, pub trips and soc swaps (about five times a term) and writing sessions (twice a term). While we encourage submissions, anyone interested in socialising with their fellow nerds is welcome to join!
