The University of Cambridge Concert Band is a non-audition ensemble open to students, staff and residents of Cambridge. Founded in 1994, the band has gone from strength to strength and now plays regular concerts in and around the Cambridge area.
UCCB is a fun and friendly wind band with our main emphasis being on music-making in a fun and friendly atmosphere. We usually have a concert during the last week of each term. If you are interested in joining UCCB simply turn up with your instrument and music stand at one of our weekly rehearsals. Rehearsals usually take place at St Giles' Church, Cambridge on Monday evenings from 7.30pm-10pm followed by a trip to the pub where you could chat to fellow UCCB members.
